Philip Howard, President
Philip Howard, founded Energy Services Consultants, Inc. (ESC) in 1998. Philip specializes in project development, energy, sustainability/GHG, and cost-reduction programs for Utility Companies, ESCO's as well as Commercial, Industrial and Institutional facilities. Philip has worked in the public and private energy industry for 30+ years. He is an officer of the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE - Atlanta Chapter); a member of ASHREA; and the Institute of Mechanical Engineers in the United Kingdom (UK). Philip is also a registered Certified Energy Manager (CEM), Certified Energy Auditor (CEA), Chartered Mechanical Engineer (CEng or European PE equivalent) with the Institute of Mechanical Engineers, and an Accredited Carbon Management Consultant for the Carbon Trust in the United Kingdom (UK). Philip was also an ANSI Technical Assessor for Greenhouse Gas (GHG) and Superior Energy Performance (SEP) ISO 50001/50021 Programs.

Background:
30+ years of experience in industry and energy consulting: GHG/carbon management, energy studies, performance contracting, facility condition assessments, and process optimization analyses. Worked with Haden, Inc. in the UK, United States and Canada on projects for the Automotive Industry. With A&C Enercom, provided Energy Audit and Project Development services to Commercial, Industrial and Institutional facilities and worked with many of the major electric and natural gas utility companies across the United States.
With Evantage, the Energy Services Company (ESCO) for Virginia Power, managed P&L, engineering resources, and performance contract projects in the Southeastern US.
In 1998, Philip founded Energy Services Consultants, Inc. (ESC) to provide project development, energy and carbon management services to Commercial, Industrial, Institutional facilities, and the Energy Services Industry in the United States, Canada, and Europe.
